Job summary

Bina Initiatives Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join a landmark railway project based in Penang. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary models and ensure BIM processes align with project standards.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of BIM experience and is proficient in Revit, Navisworks, Forma, and CDE platforms, with BEP and 4D scheduling expertise. You will be on site in Penang for the project duration.

• Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and EIR/BEP workflows.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary models (Civil, Structural, MEP, Track, Systems).
• Understanding railway-specific disciplines — OCS, signalling, SCADA, and E&M systems.
• Competent in clash detection workflows and RFI/NCR management via CDE.
• Experience producing LOD 300–400 deliverables for infrastructure projects.
• Ability to prepare and present BIM progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of IFC/Open BIM standards and COBie data requirements.
• Familiar with survey data integration — point cloud, GIS, or as-built reconciliation.
• Strong communication skills for cross-discipline and client-facing coordination.
• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
