Job summary

IJM Corporation Berhad is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to oversee model coordination across Architectural, Structural and MEP disciplines from design to construction. You will ensure BEP compliance, review deliverables, and drive timely submissions.

The role involves leading coordination meetings, maintaining model integrity and supporting construction teams with coordinated BIM outputs throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• Minimum 5–6 years of BIM and construction project experience.
• Experience coordinating Architectural, Structural and MEP disciplines.
• Familiarity with BIM implementation from design through construction.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM implementation across Architectural, Structural, Civil, and MEP disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage and review BIM models to ensure BEP compliance, client requirements and company standards.
• Conduct model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks or equivalent; resolve clashes with project teams.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Monitor BIM deliverables for quality, accuracy and timely submission.
• Coordinate model updates and ensure revisions are incorporated into the federated BIM model.
• Support construction teams with coordinated BIM models and technical assistance during execution.
• Ensure consistency of model naming, file management and version control.
• Review shop drawings and BIM deliverables prior to submission.
• Prepare BIM coordination and clash reports and progress updates for stakeholders.

Job description

Job Requirement
