Job summary

Castrol in Malaysia seeks a Supply & DRP Planner to develop and execute supply planning and DRP activities across the supply chain, balancing service, inventory, and risk. You will collaborate with Commercial, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement and Customer Service to ensure aligned plans and continuous improvement.

The role requires depth in finished goods planning, strong analytics, and proficiency with ERP/planning tools; hybrid office/remote work and local market alignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in supply planning or DRP.
• Strong knowledge of supply planning, inventory management, and distribution processes.
• Experience with end-to-end supply chain operations and their impact on business performance.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and business reporting tools.
• Experience with ERP/planning systems such as JDE or Kinaxis is advantageous.
• Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience in cross-functional, customer-focused environments.
• Knowledge of supply chain performance metrics and inventory practices.
• Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and sustainability in supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply plans and DRP activities to support demand and business objectives.
• Analyze forecasts, inventory positions, constraints, and production capacity to identify risks and mitigations.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenishment to maintain target service levels.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, and Customer Service for effective plan execution.
• Manage supply and delivery inquiries with timely, accurate updates and issue resolution.
• Track supply chain performance indicators and highlight risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support S&OE and S&OP processes with supply updates, risk assessments, and recovery actions.
• Coordinate supply allocation and prioritization during shortages or disruptions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance planning effectiveness.
• Maintain planning parameters, master data, and system information to support accuracy.
• Support compliance and sustainability initiatives within supply chain.
