Job summary

Castrol is seeking a Supply & DRP Planner (Mandarin Speaking) in Kuala Lumpur. The role will develop and execute DRP and supply plans, balance service and inventory, and collaborate with Commercial, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement and Customer Service teams to meet demand and optimize the supply network.

With at least 8 years in finished goods planning or DRP and strong Excel/ERP skills, you will drive data-driven decisions, monitor performance metrics, and support S&OE/S&OP processes

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply plans and DRP activities to support demand and business objectives.
• Analyze forecasts, inventories, constraints and capacity to identify risks and mitigation actions.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenishment to maintain service levels.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement and Customer Service teams for plan execution.
• Manage supply and delivery inquiries with accurate information and timely updates.
• Analyze supply chain KPIs and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support S&OE and S&OP processes with updates and risk assessments.
• Coordinate allocation and prioritization during shortages or disruptions.

Upon completion of the divestment, you will be employed by Castrol and will no longer be a bp employee* **Job Summary**The Supply & DRP Planner is responsible for developing and executing Supply Planning and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) activities to ensure product availability, optimize inventory, and support customer demand across the supply chain network. Working closely with Commercial, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, and Customer Service teams, the role helps balance service, inventory, and supply objectives while proactively managing supply risks and supporting operational excellence. **Job Responsibilities*** Develop and execute supply plans and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) activities to support customer demand and business objectives.* Analyze demand forecasts, inventory positions, supply constraints, and production capacities to identify risks and recommend mitigation actions.* Monitor inventory levels and replenishment activities to maintain targeted service levels and inventory performance.* Collaborate with Commercial, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, and Customer Service teams to ensure effective execution of supply plans.* Manage supply and delivery-related inquiries by providing accurate information, timely updates, and effective issue resolution.* Monitor and analyze key supply chain performance indicators and highlight risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.* Support S&OE and S&OP processes by providing supply updates, risk assessments, and recovery actions.* Coordinate supply allocation and inventory prioritization during supply shortages or operational disruptions.* Identify and support the implementation of process improvement opportunities to enhance planning effectiveness and operational efficiency.* Maintain planning parameters, master data, and system information to support planning accuracy and effectiveness.* Support compliance and sustainability initiatives within supply chain operations. **Job Qualifications*** Proven experience in Finished Goods Supply Planning, DRP, or related supply chain planning functions, with a minimum of **8 years** of relevant experience.* Strong knowledge of supply planning, inventory management, replenishment planning, and distribution processes.* Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations and their impact on business performance.* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business reporting tools.* Experience with ERP and planning systems such as JDE, or Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse is advantageous.* Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data and support data-driven decision-making.* Experience working within a cross-functional and customer-focused environment.* Knowledge of supply chain performance metrics and inventory management practices.* Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization principles.* Understanding of sustainability principles and their application within supply chain operations.* Experience supporting supply planning activities for the China market, including coordination with local commercial, logistics, manufacturing, and customer service stakeholders, will be an added advantage. **Essential Criteria*** Mandatory fluency in both **Business English and Mandarin (written and spoken)*** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.* Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.* Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to challenge existing ways of working.* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.* Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.* Strong teamwork, accountability, and integrity.
