Job summary

CB Talents is seeking a Japanese-speaking Customer Support Specialist in Malaysia. You will assist customers via live chat and email in Japanese and English, handling inquiries related to fintech and crypto products, and ensuring high-quality service.

Qualifications

Native-level Japanese proficiency is required for complex written interactions.
Strong English (written and spoken) proficiency.
2–4 years experience in Customer Service / Live-chat & Email support.
Experience with financial institutions, fintech, trading or crypto products is advantageous.
Educational background in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Admin or STEM fields preferred.
Strong numerical acumen and attention to data.
Passion to develop a long-term career in fintech/crypto trading firms.
Team player, self-driven, able to respond professionally to user requests.
Willingness to work 5 days with shifts including weekends/holidays.
Hybrid work model: onsite day shifts, remote night shifts.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with inquiries via live chat or email in Japanese and English.
Ensure an efficient, accurate, and high-quality customer service experience.
Be equipped with crypto trading platforms, products, and market fundamentals, staying updated on market conditions.
Diligently manage and follow up on inquiries or complaints from current and prospective users.
Understand customer needs and translate them into feedback and solutions for management.
Flag discrepancies, risks, or unusual situations to management promptly to ensure smooth frontline operations.
Continuously seek improvements to enhance team performance and processes.
