Job summary

CB Talents is hiring a bilingual Japanese-English customer support specialist in Malaysia to assist users of crypto and fintech platforms. You will handle live chat and email inquiries in Japanese and English, ensuring accurate, high-quality service while staying informed on market fundamentals.

The role requires 5 days of shift work including weekends and public holidays, with day shifts onsite and night shifts from home, under a hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Native-level Japanese proficiency for complex written interactions.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• 2–4 years in Customer Service / Live-chat with frontline operations training.
• Experience with financial institutions, fintech platforms, trading or crypto products is advantageous.
• Finance/Economics/Math or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with inquiries via live chat or email in Japanese and English.
• Ensure efficient, accurate, and high-quality customer service.
• Be well equipped with crypto trading platforms, products, and market fundamentals.
• Diligently manage and follow up on inquiries or complaints from users.
• Demonstrate ability to translate customer needs into feedback and solutions for management.
• Flag discrepancies, potential risks, or unusual situations to management promptly.
• Continuously seek improvements to enhance team performance and processes.
