Job summary

Big Pharmacy is seeking a Sales Assistant/Pharmacy Assistant at Kajang Prima to assist customers, provide product guidance, and support checkout operations. The role contributes to in-store promotions and accurate stock display within a growing Malaysian pharmacy group.

Training will be provided, and the position focuses on delivering exceptional customer experience while upholding store standards and rapid product knowledge across health and beauty categories. On-site at Kajang Prima.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with ability to provide product information and guidance.
• Basic cashiering and POS handling knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers, providing product information, helping them find what they need, and offering advice on product selection.
• Product visibility: Ensure proper display and apply FEFO/FIFO for inventory management.
• Inventory management: Receive goods, store deliveries, and assist in stock control and management.
• Customer service: Respond to inquiries and handle complaints, escalating to the pharmacy team when needed.
• Promotions and pricing: Attach price tags, stay updated on promotions, and create appealing displays.
• Payment processing: Process cash and card payments accurately and balance the cash register with receipts.

Duties/Responsibilities (Training Provided)

Customer Assistance: Attend to customers, providing product information, helping them find what they need, and offering advice on product selection.

Product Display: Ensure product visibility and proper display, implementing FEFO and FIFO practices for inventory management.

Inventory Management: Receive incoming goods, store deliveries appropriately, and assist in stock control and management.

Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, referring them to the appropriate pharmacy team member when necessary.

Promotions and Pricing: Attach price tags to products, stay updated on special promotions, and create appealing displays.

Payment Processing: Process cash and card payments accurately and balance the cash register with receipts.
