Job summary

Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a skilled technical project manager to lead large-scale big data initiatives on Huawei Cloud, including data migration and delivery design.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure smooth operation of cloud-based data services, and provide proactive support to customers while addressing issues across diverse usage scenarios.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical project management for big data or data warehouse projects.
• At least 3 years of project experience with big data platforms.
• At least 3 years with mainstream on-prem big data platforms.
• Familiar with Hadoop, MapReduce, Kafka, HBase, Spark, Data Lake Insights, etc.
• Experience in cloud development, delivery, or operations; cloud background preferred.
• HCIA/HCIP/HCIE cloud certs preferred.
• Strong teamwork, organization and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of usage scenarios and requirements for Huawei Cloud big data services.
• Deliver Huawei Cloud's key global big data projects and data migration plans.
• Provide technical support to Huawei Cloud customers and ensure service stability.
• Troubleshoot big data service failures, communicate solutions, and track effectiveness.

Job description

Conduct in-depth analysis of usage scenarios and requirements for Huawei Cloud big data service products (e.g., MRS, DWS, DataArts Studio, ElasticSearch, etc.).

Responsible for delivering Huawei Cloud's key global big data projects, including data migration based on Huawei Cloud big data service products, design of delivery implementation plans, and technical management of delivery projects.

Provide technical support to Huawei Cloud customers, ensuring stable operation of customer services on Huawei Cloud and resolving issues encountered by customers during usage.

Troubleshoot big data service product failures in various scenarios, communicate solutions with customers, and track the effectiveness of solution implementation.

Job Requirement:

Proven experience in technical project management for big data or data warehouse projects in the ICT or cloud computing industry, with preference for those with migration project experience.

At least 3 years of project experience working with big data platforms.

At least 3 years of project experience working with mainstream on-premises big data platforms.

Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Kafka, HBase, Spark, Data Lake Insights, etc.

Experience in cloud development, delivery, or operations and maintenance. Cloud industry background is preferred.

Holding HCIA/HCIP/HCIE certification in cloud computing or equivalent industry certifications is preferred.

Strong teamwork, organization, and coordination skills.

Skill Requirements:

Proficiency in SQL development and Shell development.

Mastery of at least one industry-popular ETL tool.

Ability to perform big data or database performance tuning.

Preferred Conditions:

At least 3 years of experience delivering big data or data warehouse projects on hybrid or public cloud.
