Job summary

Samsung SDI Energy Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a production professional in Negeri Sembilan to monitor daily outputs, analyze data, and drive improvements. You will develop SOPs, troubleshoot issues, and work with Process Engineering and Quality teams to enhance product performance while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes Lean, Kaizen, DMAIC and Six Sigma approaches to minimize downtime and defects through planned specifications and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field related to manufacturing.
• Fresh graduates and experienced candidates are welcome.
• Strong knowledge of battery fundamentals and manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Proficiency with engineering software for design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control daily production processes to meet specs.
• Analyze production data and identify process improvements.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement SOPs for production lines.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and policy compliance.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering and Quality teams to improve product performance and reduce defects.
• Drive continuous improvement via Lean, Kaizen, DMAIC and Six Sigma.
