Job summary

Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Manager - Bar to support daily bar operations and uphold Hyatt's service standards. You will help lead the bar team, manage beverage service, and contribute to cost control and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Work permit restrictions apply; Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
• Ideally with a university degree/diploma in Hospitality/Tourism management.
• Work experience as an Assistant Manager - Bar or Team Leader within hotels or luxury restaurants is preferred.
• Strong understanding of bar operations, including beverage preparation, inventory management, and customer service.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the efficient operation of the bar department in line with Hyatt standards.
• Support the Bar Manager in day-to-day operations and guest experience.
• Lead and develop the bar team and manage inventory and cost controls.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards and foster teamwork.
