Job summary

CIMB Group Malaysia is seeking a dynamic Bancassurance sales professional to promote and sell a wide range of life insurance products to bank customers. You will provide professional financial advice, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive sales campaigns while maintaining high standards of service and compliance.

The role emphasizes cross-selling, timely follow-up, and building lasting relationships with customers to achieve branch targets and contribute to overall performance.

Responsibilities

• Promote and professionally sell a wide range of Bancassurance life insurance products to the Bank’s existing and potential customers.
• Provide professional advice on appropriate financial products based on customer need.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and provide excellent after sales service.
• Plan and implement sales activities related to Bancassurance products.
• Act promptly on all leads and follow-up activities.
• Acquire good knowledge of Bancassurance products in the market.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute towards branch targets.
• Manage sales pipeline by participating in sales management routines.
• Keep abreast with accurate and updated information on products and services.
• Participate in CPD activities to increase knowledge and skills.
• Update branch managers on status of activities and any issues when necessary.
• Actively market and sell Sunlife products to all customers.
• Engage in cross-product sales to maximize customer reach and optimize delivery.
• Support successful sales campaigns and handle customer inquiries diligently.
• Refer customers to the relevant officer for other products and services.
• Resolve customer complaints and elevate to the relevant parties when necessary.
• Develop and build long-term business relationships with customers.
• Foster teamwork within the branch sales team through training and knowledge sharing.
• Identify and share new ideas to increase sales and enhance customer experience.
• Maintain professional working relationships within the sales team.
• Maintain a professional company image through housekeeping and grooming.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments and ensure compliance with CIMB Bank policies and procedures.
