Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design and build backend solutions using C#/.NET Core on Azure. You will implement AI/LLM features with LangChain and contribute to cloud-based services.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in backend development using C#/.NET Core, hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud, and practical experience working with LangChain or similar AI agent orchestration frameworks. You will work within an Agile/Scrum team to design, develop, and enhance modern cloud-based software solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Design, develop, and enhance backend software solutions using C# and .NET Core.
• Build and maintain scalable applications and services on Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Develop and integrate Web APIs and cloud-based services.
• Implement AI/LLM-based solutions using LangChain or similar agent orchestration frameworks.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
• Work with databases and support data management and processing activities.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to code quality, automated testing, and continuous improvement of development practices.

ABOUT YOU

• Around 5 years or more of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core.
• Practical experience developing and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain or a similar AI/agent orchestration framework such as LangGraph, CrewAI, Microsoft Agent Framework, or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of Web API development and backend architecture.
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker; Kubernetes experience is an advantage.
• Good understanding of software development best practices and automated testing.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a self-organized engineering team.
