Job summary

Manulife Malaysia is hiring a production support and applications developer to join our hybrid team in Kuala Lumpur. You will build applications based on user requirements, perform testing, and deliver tasks on time with quality.

You will work with AS/400 environments, including RPG, RPGLE, CL and CLLE, collaborate with users and stakeholders, and provide post-go-live support for in-house systems. 1–3 years' hands-on experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
• 1–3 years hands-on experience in software development, with a solid foundation in application development, troubleshooting, and delivering high-quality solutions.
• Experience in AS/400 development, including RPG, RPGLE, CL, and CLLE programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications and supporting components to meet business needs.
• Conduct unit testing on applications to ensure its readiness for SIT / UAT.
• Assist on functional and non-functional testing of applications.
• Assist Senior team member on system design and documentation.
• Provide effective post go-live system support and maintenance for in-house build application systems.
