We are seeking a passionate PHP Developer with a growth mindset to design, develop, and maintain backend systems and web applications end-to-end. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and reliable solutions, and have opportunities to explore other backend technologies such as Java (Spring Boot) and cloud platforms (AWS).

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code using PHP (Laravel or related MVC frameworks).

Participate in the full software development life cycle, from requirement analysis and design to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Design, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party services.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product owners to deliver maintainable and high-quality solutions.

Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and version control guidelines.

Support production issue resolution and system improvements.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including code reviews, automation, and documentation.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

1-2 years of hands-on experience in backend development using PHP and Laravel (or similar MVC frameworks).

Strong understanding of MySQL, database design, and query optimization.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git, and deployment workflows.

Exposure to Java (Spring Boot), Docker, CI/CD, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, and documentation skills.
