Job summary

AIA Malaysia is seeking a senior infrastructure leader to design and maintain secure, scalable Azure environments. You will drive IaC modernization, ensure reliability and cost efficiency, and enforce governance and security baselines across platforms.

You will collaborate with architecture, risk, and compliance teams while mentoring engineers and advancing a DevOps culture in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong Azure services knowledge and enterprise-scale architecture.
• In-depth IaC experience with Terraform, Bicep or ARM.
• Proven observability/AIOps implementation experience.
• Experience in regulated industries and security compliance.
• Leadership, collaboration, and DevOps mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure, scalable Azure environments.
• Lead IaC implementation and modernization efforts.
• Ensure high availability, DR, and cost efficiency.
• Build governance controls, tagging, and security baselines.
• Drive platform observability, dashboards, and incident response.
• Partner with architecture teams and risk/compliance functions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
