Job summary

Bank Rakyat Malaysia Berhad seeks an experienced Domain Solution Architect to translate business needs into secure, scalable technology solutions aligned with enterprise standards. You will lead architecture roadmaps, drive API and microservices design, and collaborate with business and IT teams in Kuala Lumpur.

The role requires 8–10 years in solution architecture with strong stakeholder management, governance awareness, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in solution architecture, application design, systems integration, or enterprise systems implementation.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, solution architecture frameworks, and architecture modelling methodologies.
• Proven experience in designing, integrating, and implementing solutions involving APIs, microservices, middleware, and multi-platform environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of domain solution architecture roadmaps, target architectures, and technology solution designs.
• Translate business requirements and strategic priorities into scalable, secure, and fit-for-purpose technology solutions.
• Ensure solution designs align with enterprise architecture standards, IT strategy, and governance requirements.
• Provide architecture advisory support on solution design, system integration, and implementation considerations.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to evaluate solution options and address architectural requirements.
• Support architecture governance reviews and compliance assessments.
• Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
