Job summary

Tentacle Tech in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Digital Solution Architect to shape the digital architecture for banking platforms. You will lead design, integration, and documentation while aligning with business requirements and platform boundaries across regional digital platforms.

You will mentor delivery teams, produce architecture documents, and collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet strategic goals and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in BA/SA within the banking domain.
• Strong API integration and architectural design capabilities.
• Experience with digital banking platforms such as STP, Payments, Dashboards & Inquiries, or Wealth & Investment is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and stakeholder engagement.

The Role

As a Digital Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital architecture landscape within the finance sector. You will lead the design, integration, and documentation of solutions across digital banking platforms, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure architecture aligns with business requirements and platform boundaries.

What You'll Do

• Manage and drive architecture approval in alignment with business requirements and platform boundaries
• Produce Solution Architecture Documents (SAD) and lead integration/data mapping exercises across regional digital platforms
• Provide clarity and guidance to technical delivery teams on functional solution design and interface requirements
• Propose and document detailed design papers, including architecture documentation prior to IT spend approval
• Coach and support the integration team on data mapping exercises
• Maintain updated documentation and communicate specification changes to relevant teams
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders on solution delivery

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including prior BA/SA work within the banking domain
• Strong techno-functional background with technical integration and API expertise
• Good working knowledge of banking domains such as Digital STP, Payments, Dashboards & Inquiries, or Wealth & Investment
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile delivery practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with an independent mindset
• Bachelor's or Masters degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• CBAP or TOGAF certification is an added advantage
