Job summary

Job description

Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, inspection, and repair in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company SOPs.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Conduct routine maintenance, including engine oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections, tyre checks, and other preventive maintenance.

Identify vehicle defects and recommend appropriate repair solutions.

Carry out repair work accurately and efficiently while maintaining service quality and safety standards.

Assist with vehicle troubleshooting, road testing, and quality inspections before vehicle delivery.

Ensure all tools, equipment, and workshop facilities are properly maintained and kept clean.

Complete job sheets, inspection reports, repair records, and other required service documentation.

Work closely with Service Advisors, Foremen, and other technicians to ensure timely completion of repair jobs.

Follow workplace safety requirements, environmental regulations, and company policies.

Attend technical training and product updates provided by the company or manufacturer.

Perform other duties assigned by the Service Manager or superior.

Job Requirements (JR)

Minimum qualification: SKM Level 3, DKM Level 4, Diploma in Automotive Technology, or an equivalent automotive-related qualification. Fresh graduates may apply.

Previous experience in automotive servicing or repair is an advantage.

Knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems, electrical systems, and automotive diagnostic procedures.

Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.

Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsible, disciplined, punctual, and willing to learn.

Able to follow technical instructions, company SOPs, and safety procedures.

Good communication skills and a positive working attitude.

Willing to undergo product training and continuous technical development.
