Job summary

SHB Malaysia Automotive Appliance Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Process Engineer to drive standardization and quality across production lines for automotive seating motors and wiper systems.

You will implement DFMEA/PFMEA, lead root cause analyses, and collaborate with the Process Engineering team to optimize manufacturing processes. You will work with industry standards such as IATF 16949 and IEC 60034, operate motor analysis equipment, and deliver precise test reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Motor Engineering, Mechanical Design, Automation or related major.
• 3+ years of technical analysis experience in automotive seat motor industry.
• Proficient in LabVIEW, MATLAB, and other analysis software; Python preferred.
• Strong cross-cultural communication skills (Chinese / English bilingual). write technical reports and participate in multinational meetings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop Production Work Instructions and Control Plans to ensure process standardization and quality.
• Apply DFMEA / PFMEA tools to anticipate production risks and optimize processes.
• Lead root cause analysis of motor function non-conformities using 8D, fishbone diagrams, etc.
• Interpret industry standards (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, IEC 60034) to guide control strategies on the line.
