Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Penta Consultancy Sdn. Bhd is seeking a hands-on QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing using Robot Framework.

You will build reusable libraries, implement data-driven frameworks, perform Appium-based mobile tests on Android, run API tests with Postman, and collaborate with developers and the QA team to improve testing processes and software quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with Robot Framework in test automation.
• Experience building and maintaining Robot Framework libraries and keywords.
• Strong Python programming for automation and framework extensions.
• Knowledge of Robot Framework built-in libraries (Collections, String, Date Time).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Develop reusable Robot Framework test libraries and custom keywords to enhance automation efficiency and scalability.
• Implement data-driven and keyword-driven testing frameworks to improve test coverage and maintainability.
• Perform mobile test automation using Appium, focusing on Android applications across different devices and environments.
• Execute automated and manual test cases to validate application functionality, performance, and stability.
• Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and log defects using defect management tools.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and validate API responses and integrations.
• Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Maintain and improve automation frameworks, test environments, and testing processes.
• Participate in code reviews, test planning, and continuous improvement of testing methodologies.
