Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Penta Consultancy Sdn. Bhd is seeking a hands-on QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing using Robot Framework.

You will build reusable libraries, implement data-driven frameworks, perform Appium-based mobile tests on Android, run API tests with Postman, and collaborate with developers and the QA team to improve testing processes and software quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with Robot Framework in test automation.
• Experience building and maintaining Robot Framework libraries and keywords.
• Strong Python programming for automation and framework extensions.
• Knowledge of Robot Framework built-in libraries (Collections, String, Date Time).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.

• More than 2 yearsof hands-on experience with Robot Framework in test automation.
• Strong experience in creating and maintaining Robot Framework test libraries, custom keywords, and automation scripts.
• Familiarity with Robot Framework built-in libraries such as Collections, String, and Date Time.
• Good understanding of Robot Framework architecture and execution model.
• 2+ years of experience with Appium for mobile test automation.
• Understanding of Appium architecture, WebDriver protocol, and mobile automation capabilities.
• Good Python programming skills, particularly for automation and framework extensions.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with JSON, XML, and YAML data formats.
• Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), test case design, and defect management processes.
