Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an Automation QA Engineer to design and implement automated testing across AI-enabled products. You will build test frameworks, validate AI-driven features, and ensure quality across the software delivery lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/IT, 5+ years of QA and test automation, and strong experience with Selenium, Playwright, and Appium, plus programming in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript. Kuala Lumpur based, 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of Quality Assurance and Test Automation experience.
• Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium.
• Exposure to one or more programming languages: Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for digital and AI-enabled solutions.
• Develop automated test frameworks and reusable test assets.
• Establish quality gates and testing standards across squad deliveries.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts.
• Implement regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end test suites.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, consistency, relevance, and safety.
• Develop testing approaches for GenAI applications, Copilots, Chatbots, and RAG solutions.
• Evaluate AI model responses against predefined business outcomes.
• Identify hallucinations, bias, data leakage, and reliability risks.
• Support Responsible AI and AI governance compliance activities.
• Conduct API, performance, and load testing.
• Validate security and privacy requirements to ensure compliance with enterprise quality standards.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and AI Engineers.
• Support root cause analysis and defect triage activities.
