Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA Tester to drive testing efforts with AI‑assisted design and documentation. You will contribute to test planning, case creation, and execution across web and mobile platforms, ensuring coverage and quality while aligning with the SDLC.

Responsibilities include designing test scenarios, preparing data, and supporting SIT/UAT with clear defects and traceability. The role emphasizes strong analysis, bilingual communication, and careful use of AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or diploma in CS/IT related field is required.
• 1–3 years in software testing experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of test case design, defect lifecycle, severity/priority, regression and SDLC.
• Ability to write clear, reproducible defect reports.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail; able to spot inconsistencies.
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Familiarity with AI assistants and judgement in verifying outputs.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and design test scenarios and cases for functional, negative, boundary and end‑to‑end testing.
• Prepare and maintain test data, including edge cases and realistic volumes, avoiding live production data.
• Contribute to test plans, define scope, entry/exit criteria and risks.
• Maintain traceability between requirements and test cases to demonstrate coverage.
• Execute functional, integration, regression and end‑to‑end tests across web and mobile apps.
• Support SIT/UAT and guide client testers; track issues raised during UAT.
