AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking a proactive Software Test Engineer (Automation) with 3+ years of experience to drive QA across portal-based web applications.

You will own the QA process from requirements through automation design, execution, and performance testing. Design, build, and maintain UI/API automation using Python (Selenium/Playwright), perform functional and performance testing, and validate backend data with SQL in Linux environments.

Formación

• Diploma/Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, ICT, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on software testing in Automation and QA experience (web applications).
• Automation: Strong scripting in Python with UI frameworks (Selenium, Playwright) and API testing.
• Testing Fundamentals: Defect lifecycle, test design techniques, and performance/load testing principles.
• Solid knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
• Linux/RHEL environments (basic shell commands, log analysis).
• Soft skills: Self-driven, independent work with strong problem-solving and cross-team communication.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze business requirements and user stories to identify coverage gaps, risks, and edge cases.
• Own the full testing lifecycle: test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Decide and justify which scenarios to automate vs. keep manual to maximize efficiency.
• Design, build, and maintain automated UI and API test scripts using Python and modern automation frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing across release cycles.
• Plan and execute performance, load, and stress tests to evaluate system scalability under traffic.
• Log, track, and manage defects with detailed reproduction steps, logs, and root-cause analysis.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries and analyze application logs in Linux environments.
• Continuously improve QA practices and testing workflows with minimal supervision.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer (Automation) with 3+ years of experience to drive quality across our portal-based web applications. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of the QA process from requirement analysis and test planning to hands-on manual testing, automation framework design, and performance testing.

Job Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and user stories to identify coverage gaps, risks, and edge cases.

Job Requirements

Education: Diploma/Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, ICT, or equivalent.

Experience: 3+ years of hands-on software testing in Automation and QA experience (web applications).

Automation: Strong proficiency in automation scripting using Python alongside UI frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent) and API testing tools.

Testing Fundamentals: Deep understanding of the defect lifecycle, test design techniques, and performance/load testing principles.

Technical Skills:

Solid knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.

Comfortable in Linux/RHEL environments (basic shell commands, searching/analyzing server logs).

Soft Skills:

Self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and cross-team communication skills.

Adaptable when working with evolving or ambiguous requirements.
