Qualifications

• 3-4 years PLC programming experience in automation.
• Strong automation systems and control panel design knowledge.
• Experience with PLC brands: Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron.
• Familiarity with SCADA and HMI development.
• Able to read electrical schematics and ladder logic.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial settings.
• Ability to work with complex software architectures.
• Good technical writing for design specs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement PLC programs for automated machinery and systems.
• Develop control logic based on customer specs and project requirements.
• Configure and integrate PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators for seamless operation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and vision engineers.
• Perform hardware/software setup, wiring, I/O testing, debugging, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, control systems, and automation issues to ensure uptime.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and deployment at customer sites.
• Optimize PLC programs to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Conduct system testing and validation against requirements.
• Analyze issues, implement containment and corrective actions, prepare reports.
• Ensure timely delivery of PLC software features per project timelines.
• Develop, update, and maintain documentation and schematics.
• Maintain version control and configurations for future maintenance.
• Provide support during testing and customer demonstrations.
• Assist with ad hoc PLC programming and automation tasks.
