Job summary

Shopee Bukit Raja Selatan in Klang is seeking a Maintenance Technician for automated sorting machines to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You will monitor equipment, respond to breakdowns, install and commission new gear, and keep detailed service histories.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Eng, PLC experience, and the ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and controlling systems.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) integration.
• Experience in warehouse environment is an advantage.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain day-to-day operation of automated equipment.
• Attend to breakdowns and maintenance requests promptly.
• Install and commission new equipment per the designated checklist.
• Repair, clean, lubricate, and adjust mechanical and electrical components.
• Maintain accurate records of machines and service history.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by engineers.
• Assist Lead Engineers to review SOPs and maintenance programs.
