Job summary

FLEXTRONICS TECHNOLOGY (PENANG) SDN BHD is seeking an Automation Engineer to specify, design, and maintain automation equipment and applications for manufacturing processes at Flex PTP. You will work under the Automation Manager to ensure uptime and continuous improvement of automation systems across production lines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (or similar) is required.
Typically at least 5 years of automation engineering experience in high-tech electronics or related field.
Experience with devices that include automatic camera recognition.

Responsibilities

Design, engineer, and modify automation equipment and tooling to automate manufacturing processes.
Establish manuals, drawings, models, training docs, preventive maintenance plans, and troubleshooting guides for automated equipment.
Ensure machine uptime via preventive and breakdown maintenance and drive for permanent corrective actions.
