Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking an IT automation professional with a strong focus on automating IT service management and log analysis workflows. The role requires 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in ITSM and monitoring tools, and excellent troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in ITSM tools and Monitoring tools.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash) and automation tools (Ansible).
• Experience with deployment, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation playbooks, scripts, and integrations to streamline ITSM/workflow processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions (Nagios/Zabbix, ELK, Grafana, Ansible) with high availability and security.
• Act as Unix/Windows administrator/engineer; work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into automation and monitoring dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to ITSM, Monitoring Platforms, and automation workflows.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation processes and configurations.

Overview:

We are looking for an IT professional with a keen interest in automating IT service management and log analysis workflows. The successful candidate will have at least 3-4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a role focused on ITSM tools and Monitoring tools preferably, and must be able to demonstrate strong technical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation playbooks, scripts, and integrations to streamline processes in ITSM tools/Monitoring Platforms.
• Design, implement, and maintain the Automation solutions such as Nagios/Zabbix, ELK, Grafana, Ansible - ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Has experience as or have worked as a Unix/Windows administrator/engineer.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions and monitoring dashboards.
• Act as a key resource for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to ITSM, Monitoring Platforms, and their automation workflows.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Keep up to date with the latest features, security patches, and best practices for automation technologies.

Skills & Experience We Are Looking For:

• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash) and/or automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Experience with application deployment, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and security protocols.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with LLMs and AI Technology would be an added bonus.
