Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking an IT Automation Engineer to automate IT service management and monitoring workflows. The role requires 3-4 years of relevant experience in ITSM tools and monitoring platforms, with strong scripting and automation skills.

You will develop playbooks, integrate with ITSM tools, and implement automations using Nagios/Zabbix, ELK, Grafana, and Ansible. Collaboration across teams and thorough documentation are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash) and/or automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Experience with application deployment, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and security protocols.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with LLMs and AI Technology would be an added bonus.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Keep up to date with the latest features, security patches, and best practices for automation technologies.
