Job summary

Insulet Corporation is seeking a Controls Technician to lead installation and start-up of new equipment, and drive continuous improvement across high-speed assembly and packaging lines. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, a strong background in automation, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-growing setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering discipline or related field is required.
• 1-2 years of experience in Pharma or Medical Device environment with working directly on automated manufacturing equipment.
• Hands-on experience in setup and operation of automated production equipment.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and data analytics tools.
• Ability to fulfill job responsibilities in a fast-paced/high-volume production environment.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs and PLCs on high-speed assembly, packaging and process equipment.
• Develop, collaborate on, and review wiring diagrams and logic for new equipment, field retrofits, and upgrades.
• Provide extensive support for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and publish operating scorecards to track and trend projects/improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, quality policies, and regulatory guidelines.
