Job summary

Insulet Corporation in Malaysia seeks a Controls Technician to lead installation and startup of new equipment and drive improvements on automated production lines. You will troubleshoot control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and servo drives in a fast-paced pharma/medical device environment.

Responsibilities include developing wiring diagrams, supporting continuous improvement, ensuring cGMP compliance, and collaborating with engineering on technology transfer and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Pharma/Medical Device with automated equipment.
• Hands-on setup and operation of automated production equipment.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs and PLCs on high-speed equipment.
• Develop, review wiring diagrams and logic for new equipment and upgrades.
• Provide extensive support for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Respond in a dynamic and fast-growing manufacturing environment.
• Ensure safety, quality policies and cGMP compliance.
• Back-up Engineering Maintenance Manager as needed.
• Publish operating scorecards to track and trend projects.
• Assist with tech transfer and equipment design reviews.
