Job summary

Insulet Corporation is seeking a Controls Technician in Malaysia to lead installation and start-up of new equipment, troubleshoot control systems, and advance continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires hands-on work with automation machinery, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of Pharma/Medical Device manufacturing experience, diploma in engineering, and proficiency in MS Office plus data

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Pharma or Medical Device environment with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Hands-on setup and operation of automated production equipment.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs and PLCs on high-speed equipment.
• Develop and review wiring diagrams and logic for new equipment and upgrades.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive maintenance process improvements.
• Maintain and publish operating scorecards to track projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality policies, and cGMP/ISO guidelines.
