Job summary

A leading technology firm in Penang is seeking a professional responsible for designing tooling fixtures during PCBA production. The role requires proficiency in CAD software and the ability to conduct inspection and analysis. Candidates with experience in automated equipment maintenance are preferred. Qualifications

• Design experience in circuit board production tooling fixtures preferred.
• Proficient in CAD and 3D design software.
• Experience in automated equipment maintenance or mechanical design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design tooling fixtures for PCBA production.
• Conduct dimensional inspection of workpieces and products.
• Perform fit and tolerance analysis on assemblies.
• Track and approve workwear going online.
• Optimize tooling fixtures and equipment based on production issues.
• Design operational console layout and arrange workbenches.
• Complete acceptance of automated equipment per technical indicators.
• Extract technical indicators from automated equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers for automated equipment scheme assessment.

Job description

Be responsible for the design of relevant tooling fixtures during the production and assembly process of PCBA.

Be capable of independently completing the dimensional inspection of workpieces and products.

Be capable of conducting fit analysis and tolerance analysis on the assembly of workpieces and products.

Be responsible for the online tracking and approval of the workwear going online.

Be capable of analyzing problems arising during the product production process and optimizing the structure of tooling fixtures and equipment.

Be capable of completing the layout design of the operation console and be responsible for arranging each workbench on the production line.

Be capable of completing the acceptance of automated equipment based on specific technical indicators.

Be capable of extracting technical indicators of automated equipment according to requirements.

Be capable of coordinating with suppliers to complete the scheme assessment of automated equipment

Job Requirements

Candidates with design experience in circuit board production tooling fixtures and electronic product assembly fixtures are preferred.

Proficient in using 2D/3D drawing software (CAD, Solidworks/PROE).

Candidates with experience in the maintenance of automated equipment or mechanical design of automated equipment are preferred
