Job summary

Syspex, based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking an Applications & Solutions Engineer (Pre-Sales) with at least 2 years of engineering experience. You will help customers select machine and automation solutions and work with overseas machine makers and system integrators.

You’ll support Sales with presentations, trials, and site visits, coordinate project progress and handover, and collaborate with Technical Team to ensure smooth installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in machinery, automation or related industry.
• Interest in machines, automation and problem-solving.
• Comfortable meeting customers and discussing technical requirements.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable machine/automation solutions.
• Work closely with overseas machine makers and system integrators to develop accurate solutions and costing.
• Support Sales in customer presentations, product trials, and site visits.
• Coordinate project progress, technical clarifications, layout approvals, and delivery schedules.
• Work with the Technical Team to ensure smooth installation, commissioning, and handover.
