Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Civil Engineering professional to prepare and review AutoCAD shop drawings and interpret construction drawings for multiple projects in Malaysia. You will coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal teams, conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and prepare progress updates.

The role requires strong analytical skills, good communication, and willingness to travel for site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and capable of preparing and modifying shop drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, engineering specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willing to travel and conduct site inspections when required.
• Candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience in construction, project engineering, industrial developments, infrastructure projects, factories, warehouses, data centres, or building works will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and revise shop drawings, technical drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal project teams on technical matters.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor work progress to ensure quality standards and project specifications are met.
• Assist in resolving technical and construction-related issues during project execution.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
• Support project planning, coordination, and execution activities to ensure timely project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support for industrial, infrastructure, manufacturing, warehouse, and data centre development projects.
