Job summary

ALRITE Centre Malaysia in Subang Jaya is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to support children with autism and special needs, delivering instruction tailored to each learner.

You will develop Individualised Education Plans (IEPs), prepare daily activities, monitor progress, and share Monthly Progress Reports with parents.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching qualifications in special needs education.
• Experience with autism-focused instruction is preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with parents.

Responsibilities

• Teach and support children with autism and special needs according to their individual learning needs.
• Develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEP) and lesson plans.
• Prepare and conduct daily classroom activities and structured learning sessions.
• Monitor and record students' progress and prepare Monthly Progress Reports (MPR) and performance videos.
• Manage classroom activities, student behaviour and the overall learning environment.
• Support students with daily routines, social skills, communication, self-care and independent living skills.
• Conduct activities such as circle time, social skills activities, sensory/physical activities and follow-me table sessions.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding students' progress through WhatsApp and PTM.
• Participate in case conferences, workshops and in-house training.
• Assist in organising field trips, camp activities and other centre events.
• Prepare teaching materials, visual cues and classroom resources using tools such as Canva.
• Work closely with the team on student management, timetables and duty rosters.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised classroom and centre environment.
• Assist with students' daily care routines, including hygiene, handwashing, meals, hydration, diaper changing and sanitisation.
