Autism Gym Centre in Kota Warisan Sepang is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teacher to deliver individualized therapeutic interventions in a clinical setting.

The role focuses on hands-on intervention for children with autism, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and families to support social, communication, and daily living skills through ABA-based and play-based strategies.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with children with autism or developmental delays preferred.
• Deliver therapy-based intervention programmes rather than academic teaching.
• Strong communication, observation and documentation skills.
• Committed to long-term engagement and growth with children and families.
• A SPM holder can join under Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (Bekerja Sambil Belajar).

Aufgaben

• Conduct developmental and functional assessments to identify each child’s strengths and needs.
• Design and implement individualized intervention plans based on therapeutic goals.
• Deliver one-to-one and small group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as ABA, play-based therapy, sensory integration, and communication strategies.
• Collaborate with occupational, speech, behaviour therapists, and parents to coordinate interventions.
• Track progress, prepare therapy reports, and adjust intervention plans as required.
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team discussions to maintain best practices.
