Job summary

G.H. EE DAN RAKAN RAKAN is seeking an Audit Manager to plan, oversee, and complete statutory audits across diverse industries in Malaysia.

You will review working papers and financial statements for ISA and MFRS/MPERS compliance, lead audit teams, liaise with clients, and monitor budgets and workflow to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

This role requires a recognized accounting qualification and at least 5 years external audit experience, with 2 years in a managerial role.

Qualifications

• Recognised professional accounting qualification (MIA/ACCA/CPA/MICPA/CA).
• Minimum 5+ years external audit experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS/MPERS and ISAs.
• Proven leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and complete statutory audit engagements across various industries.
• Review audit working papers and financial statements for ISA and MFRS/MPERS compliance.
• Manage audit teams to ensure timely submission and high quality work.
• Act as primary liaison for key clients and discuss audit findings with management.
• Monitor engagement budgets, WIP, billing, and department workflow.
