SFAI Malaysia is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead the growing Audit team in Kuala Lumpur. This hands-on managerial role involves owning audits from planning through completion, close collaboration with clients, your team and management.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of external audit experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.
• Experience managing multiple audit engagements and client portfolios.
• Good client management and communication skills.
• Mandarin language ability is an advantage.
• Strong ownership of deadlines and work quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients from planning through completion.
• Plan and oversee statutory audit assignments.
• Review audit working papers, financial statements and audit reports.
• Ensure engagements are completed on time and within deadlines.
• Identify significant audit, accounting and internal control issues.
• Discuss audit findings and recommendations with clients and management.
• Coach staff on audit methodology and accounting standards.
