Job summary

J.S. Lim & Co. in Malaysia is seeking an entry-level accountant to assist in audit and tax engagements. You will prepare audit working papers, financial statements and audited reports to ensure timely completion, and assist with basic tax computations.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. The role requires good MS Office and accounting software skills, and a solid understanding of accounting and bookkeeping processes. Training will be provided as you grow with the firm.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field.
• Fresh graduates with interest in audit and tax are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of MS Office and accounting software.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes.

Responsibilities

• To prepare audit working papers, audited financial statements and audited report and ensure that they are completed on a timely basis.
• To prepare basic tax computation and related worksheets
• To liaise with client & other parties related to audit issues
• To carry out other relevant work that may be assigned from time to time.
