Job summary

S.H. LIM & CO, an audit and tax firm based in Johor Bahru, invites a Tax Assistant to gain practical experience in Malaysian taxation. Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant experience are welcome to apply; you will work with experienced colleagues with training and guidance provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• Familiarity with Excel and Word.
• Willingness to learn and meet deadlines; good client communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing tax computations and income tax returns for businesses and individuals.
• Prepare supporting tax schedules and maintain organised tax files.
• Liaise with clients to obtain documents and clarify information.
• Assist with tax submissions, correspondence and follow-ups with LHDN.
• Work with senior staff to complete assignments within the required deadlines.
