Job summary

Ivan Law & Co in Malaysia is seeking an audit and tax associate to support client portfolios across diverse industries. You will help ensure proper audit programs and working papers, and prepare corporate and individual tax returns in compliance with applicable laws.

You will also assist in advisory and value-added services, complete deadlines, and take on related audit/tax duties under supervision as part of a proactive team focused on growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Accounting software knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain audit programs and working papers.
• Prepare corporate and individual tax returns in compliance with tax laws.
• Assist in other audit/tax duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Economics/Business Admin or Professional Qualification in Accountancy or equivalent

1.Ensure proper and complete audit program and working papers for all audit assignments. (Audit)

Preparing and ensuring accurate filing of tax returns for clients (corporate and/or individuals) from various industries are in compliance with Income Tax Act 1967, Public Rulings and Inland Revenue Board requirements. (Tax)

2. Ensure compliance deadlines and requirements are achieved in a timely manner

3. Passionate in providing advisory and value-added services to client portfolio. Perform audit/tax assignment and related functions under the guidance

4.To assist in any other audit/tax duties assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements

Preferable Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Economics/Business Admin or Professional Qualification in Accountancy or equivalent
