Gooi & Partners PLT is seeking ambitious Audit & Tax Assistants to join our growing team in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in supporting our audit and tax services, contributing to the success of our clients' businesses.

You'll perform detailed audits, assist with tax planning and filing, and work with cross‑functional teams to deliver high-quality services while maintaining thorough documentation and pursuing continuous learning and professional

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Accounting or related field.
• 2–3 years of audit or tax experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with accounting software or SQL is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed audits and reviews of financial records.

About the role

Gooi & Partners PLT is seeking ambitious Audit & Tax Assistants to join our growing team in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in supporting our audit and tax services, contributing to the success of our clients' businesses.

What you'll be doing

• Performing detailed audits and reviews of financial records and statements
• Assisting with tax planning, compliance and filing for individual and corporate clients
• Conducting research and analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout engagements
• Proactively identifying areas for process improvements and implementing solutions

What we're looking for

• Diploma, Bachelor's degree, part-professional in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in audit or tax, preferably in a professional services environment
• Fresh graduates also encourage to apply
• Knowledge of accounting software or SQL, UBS, ABOT, Superior Tax is an added advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Words and PowerPoint
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with clients
• Enthusiasm in Audit, Tax and Accounts
• Scopes are included SME Audit & Tax submission
• Good promotion, increment, allowance and bonus
• Study leave can be negotiated. (If any)
