KK Ang & Partners in George Town, Penang, is seeking a dedicated Audit/Tax Assistant to join our growing team. This full-time role supports external audit and tax engagements, working closely with experienced professionals to deliver high-quality services to a diverse client base.

You will assist in audit planning, fieldwork, tax compliance reviews and documentation, with training opportunities and a supportive environment that encourages professional development and work-life balance, including

Formación

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Degree, Diploma, ACCA or partial or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Words, etc.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a team.
• Able to write and communicate in English.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in audit and tax practice.
• Internship will be available for suitable candidates.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the execution of external audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork and completion stages
• Perform detailed audit procedures such as testing transactions, reconciliations and account balances
• Prepare working papers and documentation in accordance with auditing standards and firm requirements
• Conduct tax compliance reviews and assist in the preparation of tax returns
• Support the gathering and organization of financial documentation and client records
• Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information and clarifications during audit and tax engagements
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards in all client interactions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit and tax processes and procedures
