Job summary

MVC Resources is seeking an Audit Associate to assist in statutory audits for a portfolio of SME clients across diverse industries in Kuala Lumpur.

You will prepare audit working papers, perform audit testing procedures, and support the drafting of financial statements while communicating with clients to gather information and documentation required for audit purposes. You must complete tasks on time and to a high standard of quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field required.
• Pursuing or have begun a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or MICPA) encouraged.
• 2-3 years of experience in audit/accounting firm.
• Basic understanding of MFRS/MPERS is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience in handling listed firm engagements is an advantage.
