Job summary

Zohorecruit in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia is seeking an Audit Associate to support statutory audits for SME clients, prepare working papers, and assist in drafting financial statements.

You will communicate with clients to gather information, perform audit testing, and ensure timely delivery. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in accounting or related field and is pursuing ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Pursuing or have begun ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA; membership encouraged.
• Minimum 2-3 years of audit/accounting firm experience.
• Basic understanding of MFRS/MPERS; auditing procedures is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience in SME firm environment is an advantage.
