Job summary

• 1.5–3 years external audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA student, finalist or member preferred.
• Basic understanding of MPERS/MFRS and ISAs.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin preferred for client communication.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team during peak periods.

About The Role

We are hiring an Audit Semi-Senior to support audit engagements for SME clients and grow towards an Audit Senior role. This position suits ACCA students or young auditors with 1.5–3 years of experience who want strong technical training, exposure to MPERS/MFRS and close coaching from seniors and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, performing and completing audit engagements for SME clients.
• Prepare audit working papers, perform substantive and analytical procedures, and document findings.
• Draft financial statements and simple audit reports under the guidance of the Audit Senior.
• Identify basic risk areas and discuss issues with seniors and managers.
• Liaise with client staff to obtain information and resolve audit queries.
• Support seniors in supervising trainees on fieldwork and maintaining engagement timelines.

Requirements

• 1.5–3 years of external audit experience in a public accounting firm. (Strong fresh graduates with solid internship experience also considered.)
• Degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA student, finalist or member preferred.
• Basic understanding of MPERS/MFRS and ISAs with willingness to learn quickly.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin preferred for client communication.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail and ability to work in a team during peak periods.
