Job summary

LTL PARTNERS PLT in Malaysia is seeking an Audit Manager to lead our audit team and oversee audit engagements. Sponsorship for audit license applications is available for qualified candidates.

You will manage a portfolio of clients, review working papers and financial statements, mentor staff and ensure adherence to MFRS/MPERS. The role offers a 5-day work week, after probation work-from-home 1 day, and flexible start times between 8:30am and 9:30am.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in an audit managerial role.
• Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Strong proficiency in MFRS, MPERS and auditing standards will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and oversee the timely delivery of audit engagements, including resource planning, job allocation and progress monitoring
• Review audit working papers and provide technical guidance to team members
• Review financial statements, including consolidated accounts, to ensure compliance with MFRS or MPERS
• Liaise with clients to resolve audit issues, communicate key findings and maintain positive working relationships
• Contribute ideas and practical recommendations to strengthen audit efficiency and quality
• Guide, mentor and develop team members, including sharing technical expertise and conducting training
• Manage team performance, conduct appraisals and provide constructive feedback to support each team member's professional growth
• Stay current with developments in professional standards and deepen your expertise through planned training
