Job summary

PKF Malaysia is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead client audits across diverse industries. You will liaise with clients, ensure audits comply with Malaysia's auditing standards, and supervise junior staff to deliver high-quality reports.

The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of IFRS/ISA and tax regulations, and willingness to travel nationwide and abroad to assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant audit experience.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance; pursuing recognized professional certificates in Malaysia (e.g. ACCA/ICAEW/CPA Australia).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS, ISA, Quality Management Standards, and Malaysia tax/Companies acts.
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia and abroad.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients on audit assignments across portfolios and industries.
• Ensure audits adhere to approved auditing standards and Malaysian financial reporting standards.
• Draft audit reports for a variety of industries.
• Conduct field audits on assigned client portfolios.
• Supervise junior audit staff and guide the audit team.
• Collaborate with Managers to meet reporting deadlines.
• Provide financial assurance services and manage IPO engagements and other corporate projects.
