Job summary

You will be fully accountable for engagement outcomes and will help develop client relationships.

You will mentor and coach team members, oversee budgets and timelines, and participate in staff development and business pitches.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably from an international accounting firm.
• Strong grasp of IFRS and ISA technical skills.
• Excellent communication across all levels.
• Strong ethical values and respect for diversity.
• Proactive, can-do attitude and ability to multitask across priorities.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of international and local clients and deliver quality audit and assurance services, including planning, directing and completing the audits, and guiding team members.
• Apply professional scepticism and exercise professional judgement on technical issues.
• Manage stakeholders’ expectations and project timelines, keep them informed of progress.
• Attend trainings to stay updated on professional standards.
• Coach, motivate and develop team members, including trainings with the in-house team.
• Manage staff performance and conduct performance reviews.
• Work with business development on pitches.
• Coordinate with audit business support on engagement finances: budgets, profitability, WIP, and billing/collection.
• Foster effective communication within cross-functional and diverse teams.
